Quiescent Eloquence

ARGH! So excited and stressed for my holiday!

Starting out in Amsterdam with a 12 hours coach journey overnight. Nothing is booked after that first couple of nights. I have no idea what we’re doing/where we’re going. My parents are stressing because they drove down to Southampton with me today to clear out my room from uni, and they have to get my brother from Devon tomorrow, which is an overnighter and a hassle. Leaving all my house mates so early while they still had exams sucked, especially because my French friend is going back to France for good and I barely got to say goodbye :( I’ll be half-way through my journey before most of them finish exams though, and travelling at this time is cheaper, less busy and cooler.

Provisionally the plan is Amsterdam-Berlin-Prague-Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest and then the Balkans, which we’ll probably work out closer to the time. 22 days really isn’t that much time, leaving around 2-3 days in each city. I’m glad everything has come together, not like in years past when plans were ditched last minute because someone backed out. The benefits of only going with one friend.

I’m kinda scared it’s going to be a hellish nightmare. I’m also excited that no matter how skanky things get, I’ll be able to look back on the next 3 weeks with at least a few fond memories :)

Just had an exam today which I’m pretty sure I failed. Wrote about the wrong stuff and tried to bullshit my way through anyway. Unbelievably irritating.

Now to revise for another module that I’m going to fail!
